A couple weeks ago I entered my cake pops in a chocolate baking contest. I entered them not only because they look fabulous, but because they tasted even better. I used a homemade chocolate cake recipe that I really like. I didn't even take pictures because I was in such a hurry to get them in before the deadline. I got a call that night from a relative who was at the contest and she said I won the cake/pie division! Here's a picture I did take of my prize (the apron) and a couple newspaper articles about the event.
