It was my son's first birthday. I thought I may have outdone myself with my daughers Little Mermaid cake. This was my first experience with fondant and I was a little nervous... but I think I managed to do Dr. Seuss justice! We actually didn't even eat the cake. Its still on my table-I may put it in the freezer and take it out each year for his birthday, just to look at it again.
